Scuba Diving Dominica
Most literature related to scuba diving in Dominica's waters states that it's one of the best dive locations in the world. Having had several opportunities for comparison, I agree. For me, the diving here is really incredible; most all reefs are very accessible and are loaded with a huge variety of pristine corals and marine life.
My (then) 13 year old son, Alden, concluded his open-water scuba certification under the supervision of dive master, Izzy Madisetti. Izzy, who has lived on the island for many years, provided solid, safe guidance and was extremely familiar with all the Dominica dive sites.
